IN THE MOOD FOR MIYAZAKI ?

In the mood for Miyazaki? Obviously, this never ending rain season comforts us in our escape dreams. So... escape in SF on Totoro's tracks.

Last year, El Nino was mentioned all the time. We were supposed to beware and be prepared. And actually we almost were to welcome him gratefully bevause of this damned drought. And then... El Nino  happened to be rather peaceful and quiet. While this year, rain does not seem to want to stop and our patience is worn out. And still, drought is not over...

But let's stop with our weather forecast ''blabla''. You want to escape the nerve wracking rain drops noise? Here are 2 ideas, 2 Miyazaki inspired ideas.

SPOKE ART

MIYAZAKI - an art show tribute

2.4.17- 2.25.17

The art galery on Sutter Street will display for 3 weeks works by 50 artists who found their inspiration in Miyazaki's realm, characters, imagination and world.

The result (paintings, sculptures, printings) is colorful, funny, poetic, feminine, with patterns, structured, even a bit scary sometimes.

Have a nice trip through Miyazaki's world.
