COTELAC

in

French fashion boutique on Fillmore.

The lovely French brand Cotélac took its young sister Acoté by the hand and traveled to Fillmore. Perfect harmonious smooth landing!

Cotélac (created almot 20 years ago by Pierre Pernod and Raphaëlle Cavalli), casted and picked San Francisco to start its West Coast carreer. We are so proud...

The brand took possession of the 1930 Fillmore with grace and elegance. The former Hardware store used to be a kind of community place in the neighborhood. Cotélac's intention is to keep up with the legacy and the good spirit.

As soon as you get into the store... you kind of feel you're on famous Parisian fashion street rue du Cherche Midi, or even, if you squint, you could almost see Saint Eustache. OK, those are definitely  French (and even Parisian) references. Just a way to say how gorgeous and beautiful the boutique can be! A bright luminous white space, with a nicely paved floor (pebbled from here and there) and with natural light wood beams and columns. It is so simple, uncluttered and zen. We love it! (Did you doubt it?)

Both collections Cotélac and Acoté, are sustained with subtle, sweet, and refined style and  beautiful fabrics. We definitely like the dresses with detailed pleatings (they're one of Cotélac's signatures and are made... in France!), light and diaphanous sheer graphic blouses, muslin and silk, mohair and alpaca, basics fitting perfectly with the layers (sounds good for our dear weather), leather boots, bags and accessories.  It is elegant, almost "haute couture", and yet without fuss, it is precious and yet without preciosity, perfect without bragging. The ultimate French elegance, isn't it?

The people are so welcoming. We met Jennifer, the store manager who impressed us with her kindness, professionalism and flowing style. Don't hesitate to ask for advice.

We almost forgot... Collection is for both men and women. So, let's go shopping as a "koople" (the French accent, you have it or not!!)
