CLEAN THE WAVE

It's clean up time! San Francisco would not be San Francisco without its gorgeous beaches. You can act and contribute to make them even more beautiful.

Each month, the Surfrider Foundation organizes clean up sessions at Ocean Beach and Baker Beach, open to the public. For Ocean Beach, people gather every 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at stairs 17 while Baker Beach is taken care of 3rd Saturday of each month. Calendar and informations on surfrider.org.

May 30 will be a very special day. The French Consulate in San Francisco and the French surf school Sea, Surf and Fun, in association with the Surfrider Foundation, invite you to the event CLEAN THE WAVE to support the conference Climat Paris 2015 that will take place later this year.

The idea is definitely to call up the French community to show its local commitment. So we warn you... yes, the crowd will speak French. But don't be shy. Naturally, everyone is welcome. Speaking French is not a mandatory option.

 #Baker Beach forever!

In the meantine, here are some sentences to meditate...

Small streams make big rivers.

Every little bit helps.

No pain, no gain.

Strength lies in numbers.

The more, the merrier.
